HEALTHY AVOCADO BROWNIES

Summer is getting closer and closer so it’s time to really get into that diet and get your desired body! The hardest part of a diet for me is staying away from all the sweets, chocolates and cakes. So I’m trying my best to find the healthy alternatives. This time, I was craving chocolate so I decided to go for a brownie. AVOCADO BROWNIE. Yes, avocado is everywhere right now but what can we do when it’s so delicious?! 

Let’s jump right into it so you can bake one yourself! 

So what do you need:  

300 g dark chocolate 
2 tbsp Coconut oil
2-4 avocados, pitted and peeled
1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla beans
3 eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup flour (you can use any type you like) 

For the frosting:
One medium avocado, pitted and peeled
3 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3 Tbsp maple syrup  
Directions: 
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F or 200 degrees Celsius. 
2. Melt the dark chocolate with coconut oil in a bowl over simmering water. 
3. Blend avocado until smooth, using one cup of this puree, mix in honey and vanilla, and add the mixture to the melted chocolate.
4. Add the eggs, making sure they are well mixed.
5. Lastly, stir in flour and cocoa powder creating smooth batter. 
6. Bake for 15mins or until the top is nice and firm. 
7. Place all frosting ingredients into a blender, add more cocoa or syrup if desired. 
8. Spread frosting over cooled brownies and you are ready to munch!
