Perfect Italian date: Spring / Summer 2016 trend

Dreaming of holiday? (Because I am, everyday.) When FarFetch contacted me to create S/S look I didn’t need to think twice which trend of many I’ll choose because the only thing I had in mind was Dolce & Gabbana and their bold striped pieces.

Yes, stripes are quite tricky to pull off but when you know what you’re doing the result is always stunning. (Tips: Wear vertical stripes if you want to look taller and slimmer and wear horizontal stripes if you already are tall and slim because it will widen your body.) Since these seasons are all about the statement bold stripes, I created my look using D&G Venice skirt.

Why Italian perfect date? Because I would wear it on a romantic date in Italian vineyards sipping wine with my loved one.

(And nothing says Italy more than D&G.)

Venice embroidery skirt, D&G £2.150   • I love Italy top, D&G £595   • Floral print cardigan, Blumarine £901   • Rosalia shoulder bag, D&G £1200  • Cat eye sunglasses, Stella McCartney £245  • Viola sandals, Bionda Castana £492   • Holiday earings, Wouters & Hendrix £71   • Red agate and pearl ring, Wouters & Hendrix £238

Hope it will take you away just a bit and I want to share with you my favourite Italian phrase Il bel far niente! (The beauty of doing nothing)

So don’t stop dreaming and enjoy the beauty of nothing and everything together.
